Tamar Weiss-Gabbay is an editor at “Ha’Mussach”
(The Garage) the literary magazine of the National Library.
The Israeli Women Writers Forum, which was established by Tamar Weiss-Gabbay, includes more than a thousand colleagues – established and well-known women authors alongside emerging writers. Its purpose is to support local women authors and poets and to promote them. The forum also holds conferences and events from time to time.
Other projects include “Two” – an anthology of local contemporary literature in Hebrew and Arabic, which Tamar Weiss-Gabbay co-edited with Almog Behar and Tamer Massalha and which also included a series of bilingual events; and adaptations of Sumerian mythology, for children and adults.
